Plugin Documentation | Release Candidate

Goals available for this plugin:

Goal	Description
release-candidate:help	Display help information on release-candidate-maven-plugin. Call `mvn release-candidate:help -Ddetail=true -Dgoal=<goal-name>` to display parameter details.
release-candidate:updateVersion	Updates the `pom.xml` project version as per the configured `releaseVersionFormat` template. The original structure of the `pom.xml` file is preserved when the file is updated (including the comments, whitespace, formatting, etc.), so that the only thing that changes is the version number.
release-candidate:version	Retrieves project version specified in `pom.xml` and outputs it either to stdout or to a file, depending on configuration.

System Requirements

The following specifies the minimum requirements to run this Maven plugin:

Maven	3.2.5
JDK	1.6
Memory	No minimum requirement.
Disk Space	No minimum requirement.

Usage

You should specify the version in your project's plugin configuration:
